Frog sofa ... but it is not green!

So today we went out after weeks of shopping with the intention of purchasing a couple of new couches.

We had been to EVERY lounge/sofa shop in the whole of Australia and finally it came down to 2 x Plush 3 seater Helvetica's:
or a custom Frog sofa:

One of the deciding factors in the couches that we chose is the width of the arms. We both work from home a lot with our laptops and it is handy to have somewhere to put them when we need a moment away.

In the end we decided on the frog sofas for a couple of reasons:

  1. They actually wanted our business
  2. The person who served us was knowedgable, friendly and exceptionally helpful.

  3. They were willing to negotiate

  4. They designed a couch to suit us (length, colour and style)
The couches we went for is a combination of a couple of different types.

This is the arm style:

this is the foot style:

and this is the cushion style:

We have chosen a mocha/latte colour in a leather that they had not used before (deep breath) that should match the room really well.

We also decided to purchase a flip top ottoman in a contrasting colour leather for some storage and those extra couple of seats when required.

So far very happy with the product/service/price... cant wait to see the end product in our new house.

Welcome to my new home...

So we took the plunge and finally we are in our new house.

We moved from sun shiny Rowville in Melbourne's South east to ... Rowville ( I know adventurous hey?) and landed this little ripper.

This is our new home and will be for the next 5 or so years!

Our old house can be found here.

We have massive plans for this house and plan to customise it both inside and out.

Stay tuned for our posts through this exciting new journey.
